Our Company

Marr Financial Services was established in January 2000 and is based in high street offices in Newton Stewart. A full Financial Planning service is offered covering areas that include retirement options, pension planning, mortgages, investments, savings, life assurance, critical illness, income protection and home insurance. We offer our services to customers throughout Dumfries & Galloway and South Ayrshire. Office or home appointments can be arranged to suit customer needs.


We have two experienced advisers, Gavin Marr and Brian Edgar, with almost 50 years financial and business experience between them supported by two administrators, Jayne McDowall and Ashley Landers. Our key objective is to provide a full independent and impartial advice service to existing and new clients. We believe strongly in building good long term business relationships through regular customer contact. We are open and honest in the way that we operate and our primary aim to is to help clients meet their needs, goals and objectives in the most effective way possible.
